What are the daily or monthly basic fees?
What services are included in the basic fees?
What surcharges are levied for additional services?
What is the size of the apartment?
Can apartments be furnished with personal belongings?
Does the community make you feel at home?
Are the residents happy and comfortable?
What is the resident-to-staff ratio?
Is the staff friendly and courteous?
Are caregivers awake and available 24 hours a day?
Do the residents have a balanced diet?
Can the residents substitute a meal if they don't like it?
Is there an official resident complaint program in place?
What activities are available and are they structured? Ask to see an activities calendar.
Is a licensed nurse on-site?
Who manages residents' medications?
